Firefighters were responding to a ‘multi-casualty incident’ Wednesday after 14 to 20 young people reported experiencing severe medical symptoms after smoking what they believed was marijuana, Alameda County Fire Department Battalion Chief Dan O’Hara said.

It is unknown whether the marijuana was tainted, if it was some other substance, or they simply smoked too much, O’Hara said.

Is there anything they do know here? It seems they don’t know if it was pot. They don’t know how much was consumed. They have no idea what the “severe medical symptoms” were, or even how many people were there. It seems all they know is that a bunch of kids were sick with something. So let’s blame Pot.
