A series of explosions have ripped through commuter trains and stations during evening rush hour in India’s financial capital Mumbai killing more than 170 people and injuring more than 480 others.
Train carriages packed with commuters were blown apart and local television has shown bloodied limbs and dead bodies in the wreckage.”
Alright, I know I’m a few (2) days late on this one, but wow. I know and interact with many Indian people on a daily basis, and we’ve talked many times about India’s culture, people, industry and economy, and the conversation always touched on one point: how proud they were that India was basically the one country in the middle east/asian subcontinent that wasn’t being effected by terrorism. So much for that.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased and their loved ones.
